Since 2008, we at NUFF have regularly arranged a music workshop in cooperation with the film workshops that take place at the same time. In doing so, we see time and again how important it is for young musicians to discover and understand the genre of film music. The workshop takes place in Kysten Studio, the hi-end recording studio at TVIBIT. This year the young participants are accompanied by our professional mentors Kristian S Olstad, composer and guitarist and Sivert Henriksen, sound engineer.

The young musicians will split up online to the 7 different film groups and will already contribute with their musical ideas during the film idea finding process. These will then be further developed together in the studio and finally incorporated into the films in the editing process.

At the end of the workshop, Friday 26 June, the groups will present their films to the audience in a live stream. The workshop will be quite intense and take the whole week, but at the same time it will be a lot of fun.
