Hlin has worked as a freelance writer for magazines (Mannlif, 24/7) and on the online news media (visir.is). "Home away from home" is the first feature project Hlin follows through from the earliest creative level as a producer.
Elle Márjá Eira
Director, composer, producer, artist and musician from Guovdageaidnu
Elle Márjá has directed and produced several short films and has also collaborated with composer Christophe Beck in making soundtracks to The 12th Man (dir. Harald Zwart). She is an artist partner in Dáiddadállu - Kautokeino artist collective. Elle Márjá is now involved in a band project, Snoweye, as well as several film and art projects. Eira has been selected for the talent program UP 2.0 by Norwegian Film Institute, Talent Norge and Norsk Tipping.

Solvei Stenslie
Musician, Norway
Solvei is a Norwegian-American musician who arrived in Tromsø first in 2015. Her musical education followed a classical, global, and traditional folk route - up until her move to Tromsø where she established herself in the local music scene, dabbling in funk, americana, indie, hiphop, punk and other alternative styles. Her current main projects include Gypsy Chicken - a collaborative and multinational project built upon two ukuleles, and Klimakunstfestival - a year-round operation that brings together artists to collaborate on eco-related projects. She works additionally as a piano teacher, director of UNN's ukulele band and in kindergartens, and has a particular interest in active learning and horizontal leadership dynamics.
Ellery Daines
audio engineer, Norway/New Zealand
Ellery is a musician, songwriter, producer and audio engineer from New Zealand. Since arriving in Tromsø in 2018, he has worked with local bands and solo artists including Moddi, Stonebreakers, Gypsy Chicken and Ringo Moon, as well as writing and recording his own music. He also helps to run Klimakunstfestivalen - a local music and arts festival.

Asma Bseiso

Asma is an award winning film and documentary director, media consultant and trainer who started her career in 2007. In 2008 she was enrolled in a documentary fellowship program at George Washington University. She also received a training from the USC (University of Southern California). In 2010 she started giving trainings in filmmaking for beginners. In 2012 Asma received her Masters Degree from El Instituto de Cine de Madrid in Directing for Cinema and TV. Asma worked with multiple TV broadcasters like ARTE, France 24, MBC Group. She also worked with NGOs like: The United Nations, MercyCorps, CARE International, GIZ and others. Her first feature documentary “Aisha” which was released in 2016 received The Documentary Award at Malmo Film Festival in Sweden, amongst 5 production awards. In her account is more than 130 films.

With years of professional story consulting, he has been recognized as one of the top screenplays consultants in the country and worked with several beginner to award winning writers. He has vast experience in writing for Stage, Radio, TV, Films, Comic books and Gaming both locally and internationally.
He is the founder of Cajetan’s Virtual Scripting Class an “idea to screenplay” online course that boasts of a curriculum in Script and Screenplay Writing, developed following over 20 years being involved in scripting, directing and editing.
Cajetan's breadth and depth of wisdom is instrumental in shaping the next generation of storytellers.
Kizito Gamba
Photographer and filmmaker, Nairobi, Kenya
Studied film and television at Jamuhuri Film in Kenya and later did film and Tv crush course at Film &Television Institute in Australia. He has been involved in major projects including Safaricom Jazz, Aljazeera and Amnesty documentary photography, film documentaries and national TV dramas. Kizito’s involvement in the community through film and photography earned him recognition at the United Nations for Young Emerging Community Leader in Kenya. He also obtained an award from MOFILM as one of the best young filmmakers in Kenya.
Fredrick Ochieng
Filmmaker and photographer, Nairobi, Kenya
A freelance filmmaker and photographer who is passionate in storytelling. He is the founder of the Sema Youth Film Festival and currently a One World Media fellow 2021.
He is motivated in in creating and developing spaces where filmmakers and can learn, create and connect. Fredrick is one of the best trainers in Kenya and an implementor of participatory media learning approach. “Learn by doing”
Fredrick Ochieng was did participate at NUFF in 2011 as a participant and a worked closely with the coordinators, later participated at NUFF workshop in 2020 and this year he helping to coordinate NUFF workshop in Nairobi.
Fredrick is a freelance Events, Portraiture and Lifestyle photographer, Cinematographer and Trainer. I am also the founder of the SEMA Youth Film Festival.
His interest in photography and filmmaking started when he was just 9 years old. He started learning his photography skills at MYSA Shootback project.
Fredrick attended the Kenya Institute of mass communication and did study Film video production.
