NINNA PÁLMADÓTTIR

Ninna Pálmadóttir is an award-winning Icelandic filmmaker.

She graduated with an MFA in film directing/screenwriting from

NYU Tisch School of the Arts in 2019 and holds a B.A in film studies & literature from the University of Iceland.

She grew up in a small town in north Iceland, surrounded by magnificent and raw nature that formed her style and personality in the arts. Ninna has written and directed several short films in Iceland and New York.

Ninna was a participant of European Short Pitch 2019 with her thesis script ‘All Dogs Die’ and is a 2019 recipient of the Spike Lee Production Fund for the same project. ‘All Dogs Die’ is recently completed and Ninna is currently in development on her first feature length film.

KEN ARE BONGO

In 1993, Ken Are Bongo sneaked twice into the cinema in his home village Guovdageaidnu to see "Jurassic Park". This was the start of his dedication to telling stories with film as a medium. Ken Are grew up in Guovdageaidnu and has his background from reindeer husbandry. He has his education from Nordland Art and Film School in Kabelvåg and since 2006 he has worked full time with film, TV production, visual art for concerts and installations.

BJØRN ÀNTE

Bjørn Ànte is from Norway & Greece. He started with still photography at an early age, as an escape from bullying.

After traveling for many years around the globe, he studied at The Aegean School of Fine Arts, Paros, Greece and Cinematography at the New York Film Academy. He started as Light technician (Gaffer) in fashion, and commercials in New York, Paris, Athens, Norway and now works as Director of Photography mostly with Documentaries. His work usually starts from a musical point of view where images and stories follow the dynamics of melody and Rhythm, as he comes from a family of musicians. Cinema gave him space to understand humans and nature without words.

He is currently working on a documentary series on Women’s Football, as freelance cinematographer and lives on his sailboat somewhere in Europe.

ELISA FERNANDA PIRIR

Elisa is a film producer from Guatemala. She graduated from The National Film School in Norway with the student Oscar nominated «Generation Mars». She works as a producer for the Norwegian company Mer Film. Elisa leads Mer Film’s north Norwegian office in Tromsø and their own Talent development program. Her work has been awarded at many international film festivals, and in 2021 she produced two Oscar qualifying shortfilm contenders. She is a Berlinale Talents, Guadalajara Talents, Nordic Filmlab, EAVE and EWA alumni. Elisa is also working as a short film and documentary advisor at the Arts Council Norway, and is now starting production on «ARRU» directed by Elle Sofe Sara which will be the first joik musical in Norway.

TRULS KRANE MEBY

Truls Krane Meby is a Norway- and Berlin-based, award-winning and self-taught filmmaker from Lofoten, in Arctic Norway, who works as a director, editor, and writer. He is an alumni of the Berlinale Talents and is currently developing several feature film projects.

ELLERY DANES

Ellery is a musician, songwriter, producer and audio engineer from New Zealand. Since arriving in Tromsø in 2018, he has worked with local bands and solo artists including Moddi, Stonebreakers, Gypsy Chicken and Ringo Moon, as well as writing and recording his own music. He also helps to run Klimakunstfestivalen - a local music and arts festival

ØIVIND SJØVOLL

Sjøvoll started his rhythmic way of life in the form of an ever-growing record collection in the late 90's, with subsequent DJ appearances nationally and internationally. The records were eventually sampled, and his first release was printed on vinyl in 2003. The same year that Sjøvoll became co-owner and manager of the culture and club scene Cafè Circa in Tromsø, a 15-year relationship with concerts, club nights, exhibitions and cultural events.

Sjøvoll has released two studio albums (as Kohib) on Beatservice Records, and is now in the final stage of finishing his third album.

He also has several international releases on lables as SpinSpinNYC (US), Cibicaldi Records (ITA), Sprechen Records (UK), Paper Recordings (UK) and Universal Jazz (GER)

ERNIE ROBY-TOMIC

Ernie is an Appalachian artist creating performances, digital installations, music, and experimental as well as commercial XR applications internationally. Over the past seven years he has been working predominantly in Unreal Engine building applications for art installations, museum exhibitions, and educational training simulations in public and private sectors of science and healthcare.

ISMET BACHTIAR

Ismet is a creative director, curator and project manager at Tvibit where he runs the Kreativ Teknologi program across North Norway.
Ismet and his team have been actively involved in a wide variety of projects, from e-sports, gaming events and technology festivals to prototype development and game jams, all with a clear focus on talent development in the region and international outreach. In his professional career, Ismet has been an editor for GameAxis magazine in Singapore, ARG designer at Funcom and Game Designer/Content Manager at EA/Playfish.
