Teresia Fant

Teresia’s short documentary “Stories from the Shower” (2021), about teenagers thoughts and experiences in school showers and changing rooms, won the Children’s Choice Award at its world premiere at Nordisk Panorama. In Norway, it was broadcast on both NRK and Aftenposten TV and has screened in schools as part of a cultural tour and as part of sex and health education.

From 2018 to 2019, Teresia directed “Vacuum”, a web-seriesabout a group of 20-somethings, for the Finnish national broadcaster YLE. She graduated with a bachelor in documentary directing from the Norwegian Film School the summer of 2018. Teresia was born and raised in Vasa, Finland, and is now based in Norway.

Michael Mark Lanham

Michael is specializing in narrative and commercial cinematography. He has an extensive portfolio, including feature films, TV series, music videos, and commercials. Lanham earned a BFA in Cinematography from The National Film School of Norway. Among his most notable works are the feature film «A Human Position,» which premiered at the Tromsø Film Festival in 2022 and also screened at the GENT, San Sebastian, and Rotterdam film festivals. His most recent project is the Danish crime drama «Fatal Crossing,» currently available across Scandinavia.

Ane-Martha Tamnes Hansgård

Ane-Martha is a filmmaker from Northern Norway. Her projects focus on deeply personal and taboo subjects, highlighting how these relate to broader societal and structural issues. Her cinematic style often explores interpersonal dynamics, drawing inspiration from dance, dreamlike and surreal elements, or from her many road trips with her dog, Pippi.
As a director, she aims to challenge norms and is actively engaged in stories from female and LGBTQIA2+ perspectives. Motivated by a desire to create a collaborative space for filmmakers to freely explore and express their stories, she founded the production company Mattima FILMS in 2011.

Ken Are Bongo

Ken Are Bongo, a film director and cinematographer from a reindeer-herding family in Guovdageaidnu, has been active in film and TV since 2006. His creative journey is enriched by a specialization in indigenous storytelling and a deep connection to the Arctic climate that surrounds him.
Recently, he was the cinematographer for an episode of the Cannes award-winning series “Power Play” (NRK) and the Netflix feature film “Stolen,” both directed by Elle Márjá Eira. Ken Are also co-directed and was the cinematographer for three episodes of the HBO series “Outlier.”

Egil Pedersen

Egil is a Sámi film director and screenwriter from northern Norway. His first feature film BIRU UNJÁRGA, with Egil both as a director and screenwriter, will premiere in September 2024. He graduated from The Norwegian Film School in 2002. He has directed 18 music videos, 15 short films, commercials, and corporate films. His latest short film, the satirical comedy KOFTEPOLITIET (INDIGENOUS POLICE) created lots of public debate and engagement in the Sami community after its premiere. He made his first films, using Lego and clay animation, as an early teen with his father’s Super 8 film camera. Today he lives near Oslo.

Marte B. Aasen

Marte B. Aasen is a film editor from Northern Norway, currently based in Tromsø. Her main field of editing is documentary films and the latest she edited was the award winning South African film !AITSA. It had its Norwegian premiere at the Tromsø International Film Festival 2024.
After working with film for several years she graduated from Stockholm University of the Arts in 2018, with a bachelor in film editing, and has since then worked on several independent film productions and with NRK (The national Norwegian Broadcaster). In addition to documentary films, she has also done several music videos and short fiction films, and every now and then she works with live visuals.

Kristin Wensel Ellingsen

Kristin Wensel Ellingsen is a Norwegian musician, songwriter, producer and sound
engineer based in Tromsø. She studied the art of music technology at NTNU,
Trondheim. As a core member of the alternative rock band Hey Gloria, she has been
touring Sweden and Norway since 2016. As a sound engineer and producer she
collaborates with musicians and artists from various genres.
She has a soft spot for experimental noise, avant-garde and old road movies.

Together with Nasra, she is mentoring the film music group.

Nasra Ali Omar

Artstically electronic artist and percussionist Nasra prospers among a variety of genres and expressions combining improvisation and spontaneity. On stage she often collaborates with performers, musicians and artists from various fields. Her career so far includes a number of studio sessions, as well as being part of various constellations with artists from all over the world.

Nasra started to build up her career, giving solo concerts for percussion and was also often involved in various performing arts and music projects with artists from the electronic field as a session musician in both live and studio recordings.

Born in Somalia in 1979. Spent her childhood in Kenya. In 1992, she moved to Norway with her mother and two younger sisters. Nasra started drumming when she was a child, often keeping the drumbeat in Somali wedding chants and dances with her grandmother as lead singer and her mother and sisters as lead dancers.

Together with Kristin, Nasra is mentoring NUFF´s Music Group.

Ernie Roby-Tomic

Ernie is an Appalachian artist creating performances, digital installations, music, and experimental as well as commercial XR applications internationally. Over the past seven years he has been working predominantly in Unreal Engine building applications for art installations, museum exhibitions, and educational training simulations in public and private sectors of science and healthcare.

Ernie is co-mentoring the SEEK Group with Ismet Bachtiar. SEEK is a special program under the NUFF Film workshops where participants are challenged with developing exciting “new media” projects, here up north in Tromsø, Norway together with young filmmakers from all over the world.

Ismet Bachtiar

Ismet is a creative director, curator and project manager at Tvibit where he runs the Kreativ Teknologi program across North Norway.
Ismet and his team have been actively involved in a wide variety of projects, from e-sports, gaming events and technology festivals to prototype development and game jams, all with a clear focus on talent development in the region and international outreach. In his professional career, Ismet has been an editor for GameAxis magazine in Singapore, ARG designer at Funcom and Game Designer/Content Manager at EA/Playfish.

Ismet is co-mentoring the SEEK Group with Ernie.
