Masterclass with Marte Vold
The NUFF workshop represents a special challenge this year. How are 7 groups of 4 participants, each located in different countries (some in different time zones), supposed to produce 7 films from the initial idea to the finished film in just 6 days? Marte Vold's masterclass may be able to provide some answers to this question. Her last documentary film, LETTERS, was produced under similar conditions. To create the film, Marte filmed her daily life in Norway while her co-author Jéro Yun shot footage in South Korea, communicating through film clips and online meetings only. They only met in person at the premiere of the film in Busan (South Korea). A successful experiment.
