Film music seminar

WITH SIVERT HENRIKSEN & KRISTIAN OLSTAD

This seminar will focus on the importance of music in film and how to communicate and collaborate on film music. Since the dawn of film, music has been one of the most important key elements in storytelling techniques in film and this seminar will focus on how to use and direct an audience through music. How do you create tension, emotion, memories, suspense and lead an audience member into believing certain things?

Sivert Henriksen has extensive experience in teaching as well as sound technician for many of the city’s artists and bands. Kristian Svalestad Olstad debuted as a solo artist with the 2012 release KOL, and made his mark in Norway as a contemporary guitar player with a electronic and forward thinking style of playing. In recent years, Kristian has been working/touring with artists and composers such as; LEAGUS, Kantona, Mari Boine, Anneli Drecker, Petter Carlsen, Herman Rundberg, MØRK and Jakop Janssønn.

Both Sivert and Kristian are mentors to the film music workshop at NUFF 2020.

The event will be livestreamed from NUFF Studio and accessible to all on our home page.
